HOW TO STYLE- MY TOP FIVE A/W STAPLES

Oh hey there! Its fair to say I've neglected the blog for a good few months, but after having a much needed lil break and a chance to think of some new ideas for future posts, I'm back and ready to whack out some A/W content that's been piling up in my notes for the past few months. Autumn fashion is undoubtedly one of my faves- jumpers, scarves and big fluffy coats start making an appearance again. As a little inspo and guidance for those struggling with some Autumn outfit ideas, here's 5 simple pieces in my wardrobe I swear-by for A/W:  

1. Camel denim skirt 

One piece that I couldn't bear to let go of were my beloved denim skirts. This gorgeous tan one fits perfectly into my A/W wardrobe, and I love the the tortoise-shell buttons. Style with a chunky knit jumper and a big coat, or a turtle neck jumper and a baker boy hat. It would also look great with heeled or knee high boots.

2. Chunky cable-knit jumper

Jumpers have got to be up there with one of my favourite things to wear in Autumn/Winter, and this one from Primark is super thick and cosy. My fave thing about this jumper is that its so versatile and can be worn over anything as another layer- dresses, skirts, jeans, you name it. Here I've worn it over a checked pinafore dress also from Primark, and I love how it looks. 

 3. Oversized Teddy Fur Jacket

Tan and beige colours are my fave right now. This jacket goes with absolutely everything, but one of my fave ways to style it is with black ripped jeans and a snake-print blouse. SO cosy!

4. Heeled Boots 

Boots in general are a must-have for this time of year, but I'm especially in love with these burgundy ankle boots from Topshop. I would style these beauts with a denim skirt and cable-knit jumper, or a jumper dress for the perfect A/W outfit.

5. Comfy Joggers


A/W is all about staying warm and cosy, and nothing will keep you more warm and cosy than a pair of joggers. Style with a cable knit jumper or sweater for a casual vibe. These ones from PLT are only £12 and come in loads of different colours.
